FAK, PTM and the War on Pakistan

FAK, PTM and the War on Pakistan

The recent abduction of a government official in the city of Tank has once again laid bare the grim reality facing Pakistan: the enemy is not only at the gates, but within our borders, disguised as saviours, activists, and religious warriors. This single event, though tragic in its own right, is part of a much broader and more sinister narrative involving the unholy alliance between the so-called Fighters of Afghanistan and Khyber (FAK), the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM). These groups, operating under various guises, represent a coordinated assault on the integrity, sovereignty, and unity of the Pakistani state.
Let us be clear from the outset, FAK are not jihadists. They are not warriors for Islam, nor are they defenders of any legitimate cause. They are cowards in turbans who prey on the unarmed, who strike from the shadows, who murder civilians, and then retreat behind a twisted interpretation of religion to justify their savagery. Their self-declared jihad is nothing more than a scam, an elaborate fraud funded by Pakistan’s enemies, fuelled by the egos of power-hungry men, and executed at the cost of innocent lives. The abduction in Tank is but a symptom of this disease; a disease that continues to metastasize because it is nourished by the silence of those who should know better and by the complicity of political agents masquerading as human rights defenders.
Chief among these political collaborators is the PTM, a group that wraps itself in the cloak of justice while sowing the seeds of chaos. They present themselves as activists, demanding rights and protections for the Pashtun people. But this mask of human rights is soaked in the blood of innocents. Time and again, PTM has proven itself to be the public relations wing of terrorist outfits like FAK. While they rally for so-called “disappeared persons” and chant slogans against the state, they ignore the very real disappearances caused by the TTP’s bullets and bombs. Their outrage is selective, their activism tainted, and their motives suspect.
The PTM’s true face is not one of peace but of betrayal. They dishonour the proud name of the Pashtuns, a community that has contributed immensely to the fabric of Pakistan, both in times of peace and in the face of adversity. Instead of honouring this legacy, PTM dances to the tune of foreign masters, parroting anti-state rhetoric that aligns disturbingly well with the narratives spun by Pakistan’s external enemies. FAK, PTM and the War on Pakistan Every time they stand on a platform to denounce the military or the government, they echo the language of those who wish to see Pakistan fragmented and weakened.
To those who support or sympathize with PTM under the illusion of democratic expression, ask yourselves: why do their narratives so often serve those who fund FAK and TTP? Why do they never mourn the soldiers martyred while defending our borders, or the civilians killed in markets and mosques by terrorists? The answer is simple, because their loyalties lie elsewhere. They are wolves in activist clothing, loyal not to justice, not to peace, but to anarchy. They serve chaos, not change.
Pakistan has faced countless challenges in its history, natural disasters, political turmoil, external aggression, but perhaps the gravest threat is the one that arises from within: the betrayal of those who claim to represent our people while actively undermining the state. This is not just a matter of security; it is a matter of survival. No amount of propaganda, no media campaign, no social media trend can whitewash the crimes committed against the nation by these groups. Their so-called revolutions will be buried in the sands of time, remembered only as failed attempts by traitors to destabilize a resilient nation.
To the FAK militants who claim divine sanction for their crimes: your jihad is a lie. There is no honour in slaughtering your own countrymen. There is no paradise for those who murder children and abduct unarmed officials. You are not martyrs; you are mercenaries in the service of Pakistan’s enemies. And to the PTM, who scream justice while working hand in glove with chaos, your time is up. The people are waking up to your deceit, your alliances, and your agenda.
The path forward for Pakistan lies in unity, vigilance, and clarity. We must recognize the enemy within for what it is and call out every collaborator, every sympathizer, and every apologist who seeks to weaken the state under the banner of rights or religion. There can be no compromise with those who betray the nation. Pakistan will prevail, not because of slogans, but because of its unbreakable spirit and its unwavering commitment to truth, justice, and sovereignty.
In the end, history will not be kind to the FAK terrorists or their PTM sympathizers. They will be remembered not as heroes or martyrs, but as traitors—agents of chaos in a time when unity was most needed. And Pakistan, as always, will rise from the ashes of their deceit, stronger, more united, and more determined than ever.
