The Credibility Crisis of Indian Media 3 Main ONV Article

Here Indian media has found itself in a very embarrassing situation once again. The India Today outlet one of the most popular outlets reported that three Pakistani militants had penetrated Bihar through Nepal. However, it was a dramatic claim that was meant to create fear. But the narrative soon failed. The report was denied by Nepali police. They verified that the men had boarded an aircraft to Kathmandu to fly to Kuala Lumpur. Travel records proved that they had never passed into Bihar. The incident has tarnished the credibility of Indian media that is already at its lowest since the war between India and Pakistan.

False News and Rapid Rebuttal

False news was originally spread by Indian media house India Today. They reported that as far as Bihar is concerned the militants were detected as they entered Nepal via intelligence agencies. Shortly thereafter, the same source announced the refutation by Nepal police. Their claim was themselves declared to be false. It is an embarrassing contradiction. It reveals the way the Indian media lives on rumors and propaganda. A big security matter was transformed into a fake news. Such tactics destroy trust. They also expose the ineptitude of investigative organs in India.

False Terror Alarm Election Weeks

The story has some form of suspicion in the timing. Bihar is on its way to elections. The bogus infiltration report appears to be a gimmick. It is evident that BJP has a hidden media agenda. They are seeking to influence the electorate by generating terror shock. They are using fear and hatred against Pakistan.

This is not the first time. BJP has been using anti-Pakistan propaganda on many occasions to win election. It is an organized attempt to polarize society. Indian media has become an arm of propaganda.

The attempt by the Modi media to slander Pakistan has been a complete failure. Nepal police dismissed the accusations out of hand. India had alleged that three of the militants had entered Bihar via Nepal. But facts showed otherwise. The three men were recognized to be normal Pakistanis. They were Adil, Hasnain and Usman. They were not militants but job seekers who were going overseas. They flew away to Malaysia in different planes. The fake story failed miserably in front of the global eye.

False Allegations

Again, India has been caught red handed. It has the habit of making false accusations against Pakistan. It gets debunked each time, but the circle goes round. This is an intended trend. Godi Media has been converted to a factory of propaganda. It is not journalism, it is fear mongering. India is undermining its credibility by involving Pakistan in bogus tales continuously. This repetition is to be mocked by the world. Falsehoods have become more common than the truth.

Nepal Police Busts the Story

Nepal police also played a vital role in telling the truth. Records were checked by their immigration department and Kathmandu airport authority. They verified that the men had flown to Kuala Lumpur. None entered India. This official attitude broke the fake narrative of India. Travel documents disapproved the assertion. The Nepali leaders have humiliated India in the international platform. They emphasized the fact that Indian media lies more than the devil.

These three Pakistani nationals never entered Bihar. They came in through the dots and went to Malaysia. Records are clear. Their flights were checked against the schedule by Nepal police. The information was also checked by the immigration department. This has humiliated the Indian media. The propaganda machine has backfired on itself.

Identity of the Pakistanis

India was able to depict the three men as Lashkar-e-Taiba militants. However, the truth turned out to be otherwise. Adil, Hasnain and Usman were common people. They were job seekers going to foreign countries. Lashkar-e-Taiba has been already banned in Pakistan since 2022. The connection between the organization and Pakistan is inappropriate nowadays. It is a diplomatic gimmick. India would use the LeT label to generate panic. But the story backfired.

India’s Internal Fault Lines

The recurring inefficiency of the Indian NIA and RAW is incompetence. These alarms represent a deficiency in the security machinery. They go after false news instead of taking care of their citizens. Domestic problems are concealed by fear mongering. Propaganda is being used to fill internal fault lines. The BJP leadership wants to impress its Hindu vote bank with such tactics. But every failure hurts the image of India.

India is a laughingstock of the world because of the episode. False accusations by the media kill credibility. India has disgraced itself by exaggerating fake news of infiltration. The response by Nepal police has gone viral. India has been exposed to the patterns of disinformation in the world. Facts cannot be confronted with lies. The greater the involvement of India in propaganda the weaker it becomes.

The Indian media has become completely discredited. Its propaganda against Pakistan is revealed again. One more example is the fake story of Bihar infiltration. The truth was proved by Nepal police immigration and airport records. Adil, Hasnain and Usman were not terrorists but common people. The fear and lies that the BJP uses to get elected is dangerous. India is spreading propaganda instead of rescuing its flood affected citizens. This will damage the reputation of India on the international front. Indian media needs to get rid of its propaganda machine status. Until then it is a factory of lies.
