Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s words still stick because they weren’t just political slogans. They were reminders about how to live, lead, nation, together.
One of his best-known lines is:
“With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve.”
He said it at a time when Pakistan was barely finding its footing, but it still feels relevant when you think about how much progress depends on people pulling in the same direction.
He put a lot of weight on education too.
“Without education it is complete darkness and with education it is light.”
You can feel how strongly he believed that learning wasn’t optional. Even now, the country debates literacy and access to schools like it’s an unsolved problem, which makes that quote sting a little.
Jinnah also had a clear idea about freedom of belief. His line from 1947 still gets quoted:

“No struggle can ever succeed without women participating side by side with men.”
For the 1940s, that was ahead of its time. He understood that progress couldn’t just be carried out by half the population while the other half was sidelined.
And then there’s this very practical one: “Expect the best, prepare for the worst.” It shows a side of him that wasn’t idealistic for the sake of it. He believed in hope but also in being realistic about setbacks, which feels like solid advice beyond politics.
