The Inhumanity of IMP Terrorism: A Call for Unity and Justice

The Inhumanity of IMP Terrorism: A Call for Unity and Justice one nation voice

IMP is a perfect example of the extreme ground of terrorism, which is a heinous attack on humanity itself. This hate group of fanatics has absolutely no respect for the sanctity of human life, and on the contrary, they will destroy it. The intentions of the Ittehad-ul-Mujahideen Pakistan (IMP) are mainly to intimidate, barbarize, and divide, and their actions are barbaric. Their prone for violent methods is not confined only to having an attack on any nation or people, but they are aimed against humanity itself and the very nature of the Islamic religion, aiming to destabilize Pakistan.
The violent behaviour of the IMP depicts a total disregard for human dignity and life. They propagate the beauty of violence, coalitions, and bombing of citizens and security operatives, and it is meant to instill terror and fear in people. By attacking innocent people, they seek to destabilize the whole communities, thereby aiming to spread insecurity and mistrust. Their deeds are against these tenets of compassion, justice, and mercy, which the Islamic teachings stress and are also important principles of humanity.
This harrowing plan was recently pointed out by a tweet by an IMP spokesperson, which bragged of a quadcopter drone attack on the military post located in the Tehsil Mir Ali and the North Waziristan on July 12, 2025, which translated into the 17 Muharram ul-Haram 1447 in the AH order. The tweet is boastful in saying that strong chances of enemy losses and material damage are certain in the attack. The last phrase is –alhamdulillah”—Allah be praised because this act of violence has succeeded. This message of sheer inhumanity should remind people about the callous nature of the mission of IMP: their promotion of violence is merely a way to instill terror and fear.
This extremism is based on a twisted ideology where the ideology that once had a right to exist has been usurped by people who were merely in search of power and control. The IMP, just like any other extremist group in the past, wishes to instill a world where terror, violence, and oppression are the order of the day. They use religion to justify their actions, but their actions are as different as they can be from their peaceful teachings in Islam.
The actions of the IMP were supported by violence, bloodshed, and an overwhelming wish to dominate over others, which are not only not in line with Islamic values, but also a direct negation of the style of action of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The life of the Prophet was mercy, justice, and peace, and he was always trying to find a way to overcome the differences and unite communities. Violent approaches adopted by the IMP, in their turn, aim to divide people, create discord, and devastate the social fabric of the targeted societies. They do this to the detriment of the thousand-year-old spirit of Islam and its focus on peace and harmony.
Besides, there is rampant greed in the quest of the IMP to attain power. They exploit the poor souls, and their motive is to spread the message of Islam by twisting its actual meaning according to their thirst for power. Such an urge to dominate will result in random killing, bringing pain and anguish to the people who have not done anything wrong. They are terrorists, and the activities are dictated by a hostile and oppressive worldview that simply wants to dominate through fear rather than become a model through justice.
The cult of violence practiced by groups such as the IMP is an act aimed at intimidating and spreading fear. By portraying themselves as champions of a cause, they want to once again generate attention and recruit people to their cause by believing that terror is one of their tools to get a particular agenda. Nevertheless, terrorism, be it an individual or group phenomenon, is not legitimate. It is a date and run strategy, which is not relevant to solving the actual problems of conflict; it only worsens the conflict by sparking more hate and violence. Such a pattern of damage can only perpetuate weak communities and destabilise societies, which makes the chances of peace and reconciliation even greater.
The issue of terrorism is not a response to the problems of the world, and is not a way that complies with any religion and /or school of thought that is humane. It is a blind will to destruction, a blind will to destroy the very things that make us human, empathy, respect, and dignity towards others. Actors of these actions, such as the IMP, could claim that they are fighting a cause, but in reality, they are driven by the lust for power, money, and fear.
It is crucial to recognize the danger that groups like the IMP pose to global peace and security. They operate on a hostile agenda, one that seeks to disrupt the harmony of societies and distort the true message of Islam. But the world must not fall into the trap of equating these groups with the faith they claim to represent. The overwhelming majority of Muslims are peace-loving individuals who reject extremism in all its forms. The actions of the IMP do not reflect the values of Islam or the principles of justice and humanity.
The fight against terrorism is a fight for the values that unite us as a global community. It is a fight for the dignity of every human being, for the sanctity of life, and for the peace that we all deserve. To defeat terrorism, we must reject the rhetoric of violence and instead embrace the principles of justice, compassion, and unity. The path forward lies in understanding that true strength comes not from fear and oppression, but from the collective will to build a better, more peaceful world.
The international community must stand united against groups like the IMP, whose actions only serve to harm humanity and distort the true message of Islam. We must ensure that the world’s future is shaped by peace, respect, and cooperation, not by terror and division. It is through these values—values that are deeply rooted in both Islam and universal human rights—that we can defeat extremism and build a future of hope and harmony for all.
