Our founders established the basics, and it is the duty of younger generation to add to what has already been set up. This is not only to celebrate Independence Day once a year. It demands the utmost faith in the ethos in which our country was founded.
The formation of Pakistan was a pledge. It was a commitment of a better hope, a hope that now all citizens can live in dignity and opportunity.
So, for the nationals of Pakistan, it’s not only a personal but a national obligation to the living of future generations, obligation to keep that promise vouchsafed.
This implies being an active member in the development of our country that fosters tolerance and the society where justice triumphs. Exactly because if we know about our past, we can mold our future better. Young Pakistani has a contribution to make towards this new mission. Now, we should be thankful to the sacrifices of our forefathers by devoting ourselves to achieve then dreamed in shape of Pakistan.
Pakistani youth are the immediate carriers of this amazing legacy. This youth will have to inherit not only the land but the strong vision of it. Now you own Pakistan in the founding ideals. Freedom was a battle and not a destination. It marked the start of fresh journey of creation to create a prosperous and fair country.
The founders provided the base of work, and it is up to the younger generation to add to this base. This is not limited to the celebration of Independence Day annually. It entails a strong investment in the values that formed our nation.
