Gold and Silver Prices Hold Steady After Two Days of Volatility
After experiencing two straight days of price fluctuations, gold and silver prices across Pakistan remained unchanged on Tuesday, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).
According to the latest data, the price of 24-carat gold held firm at Rs 444,900 per tola, while 10 grams of 24-carat gold were sold at Rs 381,430. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 349,656, showing no change from the previous day’s rates.
In the international market, gold also saw little to no movement, staying flat at $4,235 per ounce, reflecting a calm trading session after recent volatility triggered by fluctuating global economic indicators and currency movements.
The silver market mirrored gold’s stability. The rate per tola of silver was recorded at Rs 5,261, while 10 grams of silver were priced at Rs 4,510. On the global front, silver remained steady at $51.60 per ounce, maintaining its previous levels.

Traders attributed this temporary calm to a balance between international gold demand, exchange rate adjustments, and the local market’s cautious sentiment. They added that investors are closely watching upcoming international economic data, including U.S. inflation reports and oil price movements, which could influence the next trend in bullion prices.
Despite the current stability, market experts suggest that prices may experience renewed movement in the coming days, depending on shifts in the global precious metals market and the rupee-dollar parity. For now, Pakistan’s bullion market remains stable, offering a brief period of calm to both traders and consumers after a week of uncertainty.
